Laser resurfacing
Fractional laser resurfacing rejuvenates the skin at a cellular level by stimulating collagen production through the body’s own healing process. The laser creates hundreds of tiny, microscopic channels in the dermal layers, known as Microscopic Treatment Zones, while leaving surrounding skin untouched and intact to support the healing process. This non-ablative, fractional technique allows for an effective treatment with less downtime compared to fully ablative laser treatments.
Fractional laser treatments work by targeting precise layers of the skin determined by the laser’s wavelength. Beams of energy delivered into the skin can either target deep dermal layers to boost collagen production or more superficial epidermal layers to destroy melanin pigment and smooth fine lines. By triggering the body to naturally produce more collagen and eliminate unwanted pigment, we can restore the youthful vitality that skin loses over time and reverse signs of aging and sun damage.

Laser resurfacing treatments
Fraxel Re:store is a 1550nm wavelength fractional, non-ablative erbium fiber resurfacing laser that penetrates into the deep dermal layers to remodel and rebuild collagen.
What can I expect during the procedure?
Fraxel Re:Store is our deepest, most aggressive resurfacing laser. The treatment area will be thoroughly cleansed pre-treatment and topical numbing cream applied. During the treatment, a special cooling device will provide a chilled stream of air to cool the area while the laser handpiece glides along the skin. As the laser energy is delivered, you will feel a hot, prickling sensation. Immediately following the procedure, the skin looks and feels like a hot, pink sunburn.
Timing:
90 minutes total – 60 minutes to numb & 30 minutes of treatment time and post care

LaseMD Ultra is a 1927nm wavelength fractional, non-ablative thulium fiber resurfacing laser that targets pigmentation, sun damage and fine lines in all skin types. This treatment provides dramatic improvement without the intense redness and peeling expected from an aggressive laser treatment, making it ideal for anyone ages 25-50 who is not quite ready for a Fraxel treatment, or seeking a procedure with less downtime.
What can I expect during the procedure?
LaseMD Ultra is an effective, minimal downtime resurfacing laser that can be performed with or without topical numbing cream, depending on the treatment indication and settings used. It is safe in all skin types and can treat a variety of pigmentation disorders by creating microscopic injuries in the skin at the exact cellular level where pigmentation exists. It is also used for rejuvenation and anti-aging by targeting fine lines on the skin’s surface and encouraging new, healthy skin formation.
Timing:
- 60 minutes total for anti-aging or photodamage – 30 minutes to numb & 30 minutes of treatment time and post care
- 30 minutes total for melasma – no numbing required & 30 minutes of treatment time and post care

The Dual treatment is our most comprehensive resurfacing laser procedure, involving a Fraxel Re:Store combined with a LaseMD Ultra treatment. It is the ideal procedure for addressing both anti-aging and photodamage in one session. The lasers are used consecutively to the same treatment area, providing the simultaneous benefits of both a 1550nm and 1927nm fractional resurfacing procedure. This allows for treatment to repair and rebuild collagen while also targeting unwanted pigmentation.

The treatment area will be thoroughly cleansed pre-treatment and topical numbing cream applied. Our go-to treatment for preventative anti-aging. The Glo procedure is our most gentle, painless, no downtime laser resurfacing option for anyone looking for a quick glow up. It’s ideal for anyone ages 20-40 looking to refresh and rejuvenate their skin without disrupting their daily routine.
What can I expect during the procedure?
The Glo involves a light, “baby fraxel” treatment using the LaseMD Ultra, followed by 1-2 layers of a ViPeel chemical peel. The application of a ViPeel immediately following the laser provides an enhanced effect of both the laser and peel without any additional discomfort. Topical numbing is not required for this low heat, low energy comfortable treatment.

What are the side effects?
There is no downtime after a Glo treatment.
- Immediately post-procedure: skin is slightly pink with a temporary tan discoloration from the ViPeel

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy, also known as photofacial, is a non-invasive cosmetic skin treatment that uses high-intensity pulses of visible light to improve the color, texture, and overall appearance of the skin through a non-invasive procedure. IPL therapy selectively destroys melanin (pigment) and hemoglobin (red blood cells) to produce clearer, more beautiful skin. It can help reduce the visible damage caused by sun exposure, minimize or remove age spots, freckles, and unwanted hair, and improve the appearance of scars and vascular lesions, such as spider telangiectasias and broken facial veins.
What can IPL treat?: Facial redness and rosacea, broken capillaries, facial and leg spider veins, brown sun spots and freckles
What are the side effects? Mild post treatment redness, swelling and slight stinging or itching following the treatment, lasting for up to 24-72 hours. Treated brown spots will often look darker and “coffee” colored prior to falling off.
Locations that can be treated: Face, neck, chest, back, arms and hands are the most common treatment sites
Results: Results can be seen anywhere from 1-3 weeks after treatment, and often times between 2-3 treatment sessions are required to achieve an optimal outcome
